Our Aircraft Nanchang CJ-6 Our aircraft has the registration callsign VH-NNP.  It was used by the Peoples Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) to train their fighter pilots before they move onto jet aircraft…...Powered by a Housai HS6 9 cylinder supercharged radial engine producing 285hp it is capable of taking off in less than 300m, a cruise speed of 280kmh….. Radials are renowned for their power. They are also known for the smoke they produce on the first start of the day and the throaty sound they make.  They are described by some people as the V8 of the sky. We can take tentative bookings for these locations. If sufficient people are also wishing to fly from a location, we can co-ordinate a suitable day.  We will also conduct flights from these locations on specific days and will advertise well in advance in The Hobart Mercury and The Advocate newspapers as appropriate.
